Brooke Bowdler, the wife of former Atlanta Hawks player Cal Bowdler, is a former model.
She and Cal met in a pub during his 23rd birthday celebration. As their love developed, they eventually got married and had three kids together, but their family didn't exactly have the most perfect setup. While Cal was away playing basketball, Brooke stayed home with their kids battling addiction.
According to sources, Brooke Bowdler developed her addiction to drugs some time in 2003. Brooke went back to Atlanta with her daughter to resume her modeling career after getting tired of Cal's absence due to basketball. The depressed mother suddenly became inclined to consume narcotics to drown all her negative emotions.
Cal Bowdler heard about his wife's addiction and pleaded with her to go to rehabilitation. Cal attempted to send Brooke to rehab on three occasions, as her initial treatment wasn't working out well. Eventually, the former basketball player's wife beat her addiction and turned a new leaf. These days, the couple is living a happy life with their kids.
