Who is Felipe Motta? Everything about ltalian basketball player who debunked 'alien' sighting in Brazil

Italian basketball player Felipe Motta debunked the viral UFO video shot in Brazil by claiming that he's one of the creatures depicted in the frightening clip. Earlier this week, eye-witness Sara Dalete was hiking with her family when she spotted two strange, tall creatures standing on the cliffs of the Brazilian island of Ilha do Mel.

Sara captured the video, which soon gained popularity on social media. But all the uproar over an alien takeover of Earth could just be a misidentification.

This week's highly dubious footage, especially that of the alleged "alien,", being far too widely accepted as authentic, took on a new dimension when Motta made light of the fact that he was the subject of a widely shared hiking video.

The clip in question appeared to show what some claimed to be a "10-foot alien" taking a stroll on a hilltop on an island in Brazil. The video even claimed to depict two of these alleged creatures.

The videos show the so-called "aliens" surveying the land below from up the hill, moving about, gesturing and walking through the landscape.

Felipe Motta, who plays for Brazilian basketball team Flamengo, uploaded a TikTok clip, proclaiming himself to be one of the tall figures in question.

He said (as translated to English):

"I went on a trail to enjoy nature and this view. But then people took a photo of me, sent it to the gossip page, and called me strange."
