Former NBA forward Junior Bridgeman has reportedly bought a 10% stake in the Milwaukee Bucks. According to CNBC, he received a 15% limited partner discount. Bridgeman and the Bucks have not commented on the transaction.

Bridgeman owns Ebony and Jet magazines. He played 10 seasons for the Milwaukee Bucks and two seasons with the LA Clippers before retiring in 1987.

CNBC's Michael Ozanian said the Bucks were valued at $3.2 billion before Bridgeman joined their ownership group.

Bridgeman has a net worth of $600 million, the fourth highest among current and former NBA players, according to ESPN's Baxter Holmes.

After retiring, he learned the fast-food business and bought five Wendy's locations in Milwaukee. During the next few years, he purchased more locations and sold his franchises in 2016.

A look at former Bucks forward Junior Bridgeman's NBA career

Bridgeman was selected eighth overall by the LA Lakers in 1975. However, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Walt Wesley.

In 10 seasons with the Bucks, he averaged 13.9 points (47.8% shooting), 3.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He was then traded to the LA Clippers in exchange for Terry Cummings, Craig Hodges and Ricky Pearce.

The future media giant averaged 11.8 points (45.7% shooting), 2.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game with the Clippers.

Notable sixth-man contributions define Bridgeman's NBA career. He was a reliable locker-room presence and earned consistent rotation minutes with every roster he entered camp with.
