Kawhi Leonard has struggled to stay on the court over the past two seasons, playing just five total games. Off the court, the two-time NBA Finals MVP maintains a private life with his girlfriend, Kishele Shipley. The couple have been together since 2014 and share two children, a daughter born in 2016 and a son born in 2019.
Leonard and Shipley first met at San Diego State University, where they both attended. The five-time All-Star was a star on the Aztecs basketball team, while Shipley graduated with a degree in public administration in 2012.
The couple own several homes in the Southern California area, most recently purchasing a home in the Pacific Palisades region of Los Angeles for $17 million.
Despite Kawhi Leonard's status as one of the biggest stars in the NBA, the couple have managed to remain private in their personal lives. As is the case with her superstar boyfriend, Shipley also does not have a social media account.

Will Kawhi Leonard be able to return to the player that he was?
Kawhi Leonard was viewed as one of the top five players in the NBA before injuries derailed his prime. While he was able to overcome his health issues to lead the Toronto Raptors to the 2018-2019 NBA championship, Leonard's inability to stay on the court has begun to become troublesome.
Leonard has played in just 44.2% of games over the past six seasons, as he has suited up in just 183 out of a possible 414 games.
While on the court during that span, however, the LA Clippers star has been very productive. He has averaged 25.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks. Additionally, he has shot 48.9% from the field, 37.5% from 3-point range, and 87.1% from the free-throw line.
Kawhi has not found much success in 2022-2023, however, as he is averaging just 10.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.2 blocks through just five games played. More concerning is that Leonard has shot just 42.2% from the field, 13.3% from 3-point range, and 76.9% from the free-throw line.
While Leonard certainly has the talent to bounce back, his health remains a major question mark. It remains to be seen if he will be able to overcome the plethora of injuries he has faced.
