Who is Matt Barnes' fiancee, Anansa Sims? All you need to know

The ex-husband of Matt Barnes' fiancee was seen getting insulted by the former basketball player at the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers game. Barnes was spotted spitting at his fiancee's former partner, David Patterson, outside of the arena.

During the holidays last year, it was made known to the public that Barnes was engaged to Anansa Sims. After five years of dating, the two decided to take their relationship to the next level.

Sims is a model who also shares a five-year-old son with the 2017 NBA champion.

Both personalities were married before their romantic relationship began. As the husband to a former NFL player, Sims shares three sons with Patterson. Similar to his fiancee, Barnes also had kids of his own before making his divorce from his previous marriage official.

Matt Barnes' fiancee has appeared on TV before

Sims has appeared on a few notable shows in her career. She gained recognition after being seen on "America's Next Top Model," "The Mo’Nique Show" and "The Wendy Williams Show." Modeling seems to run in her genes as her mother, Beverly Johnson, used to be a top model.

Anansa's father, Danny, is also a well-known figure. He was a record label producer who was bold enough to sign Bob Marley to his first international publishing contract. However, Mr. Sims died in October of 2012 due to colon cancer.

Sims and Barnes had a brief moment of break from their relationship in February 2020 but would eventually get back together.
