Who is Trevor Ariza’s wife Bree Anderson? What is the latest development in their divorce case? All you need to know 

Trevor Ariza's wife is currently fighting the former NBA champion to pay her spousal support. The pair are going through divorce proceedings, and things have been getting pretty ugly. While Bree Anderson fights for custody of the pair's kids, she's also looking to receive alimony.

According to reports, Anderson requested $250,000 from the former NBA player to pay for divorce lawyers, in addition to a request for child and spousal support. This week, Ariza and his legal team fired back by requesting primary custody of their kids and termination of his financial support of Anderson.

Add onto that Ariza's request for the court to award him ownership of all property acquired before, during, and after their relationship, and you have one wild case. This is a stark contrast to the massive wedding thrown by the pair during his days in Houston. In honor of their special day, plenty of Ariza's teammates on the Houston Rockets attended.

So far, there's no word yet as to when the pair are due in court again. However, with how much is up in the air right now, we'll likely get some big developments at that time.

Trevor Ariza's ex-wife and first divorce

This isn't the first time that the former player has been involved in a very public divorce. Before Trevor Ariza's wife, Bree Anderson, was in the headlines for their divorce, he made headlines for his divorce from Lana Allen. During the time of their divorce, Allen accused the NBA champ of abusing their child.

She filed a restraining order against Ariza for the injuries she said he inflicted on their son. It took quite some time but, in late-2020, Ariza was cleared of any wrongdoing and was deemed innocent in the investigation.

At the time, the former champ released a statement about the situation:

"What is occurring here is in fact (Allen's) abuse of the minor child by her relentless, cruel loyalty conflict for (the child), alienation campaign and selfishly driven attempts to interfere in father and son's relationship."

Trevor Ariza's current status in the NBA

After spending a year playing for the LA Lakers from 2021-22, Trevor Ariza then became an unrestricted free agent this season after being waived. At 37 years old, he finds himself as a free agent.

While other NBA veterans like DeMarcus Cousins getting workouts and contracts, it's not out of the realm of possibility for Ariza to make a return to the league.

However, last season was a rough one for the veteran. In 24 games for the LA Lakers he averaged just 4.0 points per game on 33.3% shooting, including just 27.0% from beyond the arc. Despite remaining a free agent, Ariza has yet to make an announcement regarding his retirement.
