NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley is always good for an interesting quote or story, and he's done it again. The former MVP recently peeled back the curtain a little too far into his personal life.
During a recent episode of his podcast "The Steam Room" with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley got an interesting question from a caller. If you drop a bar of soap, is the soap dirty or is the floor clean?
Following this question, Barkley went on a tangent about his travel habits. Stating that he always brings a big bar of soap with him after an "incident" with smaller hotel soaps.
"I travel with a big bar of soap. I love soap."

"These hotels started being cheap. Those bars ain’t big enough. Because I almost had a couple of accidents with the soap in hotels."
"I almost lost it and I was like, ‘WHOA, that was too close for comfort.’ So now I travel with my own big bars of soap."
Without diving too much into it, one can assume what Barkley meant by almost "losing" the soap while using it. Even after all these years on TV, the Phoenix Suns legend still never ceases to amaze.
Shaquille O'Neal reacts to Charles Barkley soap story
Following this conversation on their podcast, Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley brought it to TNT's "Inside the NBA." After hearing it live on air, one of the co-hosts could not contain themselves.
Outside of Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal is one of the biggest names in NBA media. The LA Lakers legend always gets into it with Barkley, but not this time. Following this story, he was at a loss for words and couldn't control his laughter.
Shaq and Kenny Smith eventually gathered themselves and started to have some fun at Barkley's expense.
"We're gonna get kicked off the air."
"Hold on Chuck, what happened with the soap?"
"I don't know where he lost it, but I'm still kind of worried that he prefers bigger bars of soap now."
Moments like this are what makes Inside the NBA such a special program. Over the past decade, the four hosts have built a great bond with one another that creates hilarious moments like this. Along with getting in-depth coverage from a trio of former players, they always keep you on your toes with their stories.
Barkley feels like what he does is reasonable, but it's left his peers completely speechless.
