Why is Jalen Green's baby mama Draya Michele suing Tyrod Taylor? New York Jets QB facing lawsuit explored

Draya Michele has sued New York Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor for allegedly breaching a verbal contract regarding a house deal. Michele and Taylor began dating in 2020 and split in 2023, after which the model was spotted with Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets.

A year after their breakup, Michele is taking Taylor to court, filing a lawsuit against the veteran NFL play-caller. According to TMZ Sports, the model alleges that Taylor purchased a house in Los Angeles in August 2022, and let Michele and her kids move in. They agreed to a verbal pact that Michele could buy the house from the former Buffalo Bills and New York Giants player.

Moreover, whatever contributions she made to the house would be taken into account if she tried to buy the property. Michele notes, however, that they never signed any type of contract since they were dating at the time.

Taylor reportedly countered a $2.8 million offer from Draya at $3.2 million in January 2024, which the model accepted. After spending $300,000 on the house, Draya Michele now says Taylor is threatening to evict her, ignoring all their previous agreements, and refusing to sell the house.

Draya Michele responds to online hate about her relationship with Jalen Green

Before the news about Tyrod Taylor surfaced, Draya Michele was on social media calling out fans for saying negative things about her relationship with Jalen Green. For instance, underneath an Instagram post by "The Shade Room" earlier this week, she commented:

"Is this outrage like forever? Or do yall eventually get over it? Just asking."

Michele and Green have been trying to block out all the noise and focus on their relationship. Talking with TMZ, they spoke about how they deal with critics on social media.

"We try to stay off the internet and not really listen to that kind of stuff," Michele said. "We block it out and mind our business. Two adults being in love. I don't know why that would rub people the wrong way. It's kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day."

After welcoming their first child, the couple is trying to concentrate on building a home together rather than focus on the criticism.
