Joel Embiid got ejected from Monday's clash between the Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs. The incident occurred in the first half after Embiid issued an offensive charge on Victor Wembanyama. He was seemingly unwilling to accept the outcome, believing he got fouled instead.
Embiid's tirade continued against one of the officials, leading to his ejection. He got into the referee's face and was issued a technical foul once and then another quickly. Embiid was furious and even charged towards the official after the decision to eject him was made.
He finished the game with nine points, three rebounds and two steals, shooting 2-of-8, including 1-of-4 from 3-point range.
