Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out of the LA Clippers game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. The two-time NBA champion was in action when the Clippers created history by recording the biggest margin of victory in franchise history on Wednesday.
Leonard-led Clippers routed the Brooklyn Nets by 59 points by registering a dominant 126-67 win at home. Leonard, who was only playing his fourth game of the season, was exceptional and delivered the best performance of his season. He finished with 23 points, two rebounds and one steal while shooting 8 of 23 from the field, including 0 of 1 from 3-point range, in 24 minutes.
While the six-time All-Star's performance came as fantastic news for the Clippers fans, they will have to wait a couple of days to watch their superstar in action again.

Kawhi Leonard will not play against the Blazers as the Clippers will be playing on a back-to-back. The two-time NBA Finals MVP is still getting into game shape after recovering from a knee injury, which forced him to miss several games begin the season.
Meanwhile, the Clippers superstar reflected on his best performance of the season while also speaking about the increasing in his minutes.
"It felt good. But like I said before, I’m taking my time," Leonard said after Clippers' win over the Nets. "Just because I made shots, it don’t mean nothing.
"To me, at least. It’s about how I’m moving and feeling… We pushed my minutes up. So tonight was able to play 24 minutes. (Ty Lue) allowed me to bring the ball up and get us into the pace of the offense. I thought that helped."
