Steven Adams is one of the NBA's strongest players. He can box out even the biggest players, and defenders can find it difficult to get past him when he is setting a screen. Aside from being known as a strong guy, he has also developed a reputation for being one of the league's most likable players.
He has also established himself as one of the most reliable rebounders. While he doesn't score a lot, he is an efficient bucket-getter, making 58.7% of his shots for his entire career.
However, there is another aspect of Steven Adams that has made him memorable to some, and that is his uncanny resemblance to another famous person.
The center from New Zealand is often compared to the actor Jason Momoa, especially because of their similar hairstyle. In fact, he has been mistaken as the actor before.

Momoa's most famous roles are in "Game of Thrones" and "Aquaman." His role in the latter film has influenced the nickname for the Memphis Grizzlies center, who is sometimes referred to as Aquaman.
The fact that Adams and Momoa look similar is the only link between the two personalities.
The Memphis Grizzlies have announced that Steven Adams will miss the entire 2023-24 season
Unfortunately for the Memphis Grizzlies, they will have to go through the upcoming season without the contributions of Steven Adams. The big man has been out since January due to a knee injury. This caused him to miss the latter half of the season including the playoffs.
The Grizzlies announced on Sunday that Adams will need to undergo season-ending surgery. The surgery is required to repair the posterior cruciate ligament on his right knee after nonoperative rehab failed to fix his knee instability.
Thankfully for Memphis, the Grizzlies also shared that he is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, although they did not provide a timeline for his return.
Steven Adams' absence will hurt the Grizzlies' depth, which is already missing some key players. Ja Morant's suspension means they are missing their biggest star, and big man Brandon Clarke is also unavailable as he is rehabilitating his Achilles.
The team still has Jaren Jackson Jr., who was a first-time All-star last year and is also the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
Santi Aldama will most likely see an increase in minutes due to this. Additionally, coach Taylor Jenkins might also rely on Kenneth Lofton Jr., who looks like he can become a fan favorite.
