He discussed Wembanyama's stats and said that he has a serious case of winning the MVP award next season. Moreover, he proclaimed that he is already playing better than 14-time All-Star Kevin Durant.

"You plug Victor Wembanyama on the Suns in place of Kevin Durant, they’re a better team. He is better than KD," O'Connor said.

O'Connor added that Wembanyama is the type of offensively balanced defensive player that the Suns need instead of Durant.
