Fans react to Nia Long's recent tweet about Celtics loss

The Boston Celtics are now down 2-0 to the Miami Heat after losing yet another game at home at the TD Garden. Behind a massive performance from Jimmy Butler, the Heat were able to rally late and pick up a massive win on the road.

With the series now headed back to Miami, NBA fans on social media were going wild reacting to everything that took place.

Among the people tweeting was former coach Ime Udoka's ex-wife Nia Long, who was quick to tweet about the loss. Naturally, her tweet generated some pretty funny reactions from fans, which we have compiled in the section below.

Nia Long wasn't happy with how Celtics handled scandal

When Ime Udoka was suspended by the Celtics, Nia Long made it clear that she wasn't happy with how the team handled things regarding her and her son. At the time, she was surprised and disappointed by the fact that the organization hadn't checked up on her and her son.

In addition, she was frustrated by the fact that the organization made what she believes could have been a private situation, public. During an interview with Hollywood Reporter, she spoke about the ordeal:

“If you’re in the business of protecting women — I’m sorry, no one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see if my children are OK. It’s very disappointing.
“I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public. It was devastating, and it still is. He still has moments where it’s not easy for him.”

With the team now down 2-0 to the Miami Heat, Long could very well be celebrating a shocking Boston elimination this week. Although many have predicted that the team will bounce back with a big Game 3, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have proven that they will continue to surprise everyone.

As the two teams prepare for Game 3 on Sunday night, the stakes are at an all-time high, and Nia Long will surely be watching.
