NBA fans jokingly blame Savannah James for not allowing LeBron James to be on stage with Kendrick Lamar

LeBron James was among the many NBA stars in attendance at Kendrick Lamar's concert on Wednesday. However, the 20-time All-Star never made it on stage, leaving fans cracking jokes.

Kendrick Lamar's show in Inglewood was a star-studded affair. Numerous clips from the concert have gone viral. The rapper performed all his diss tracks aimed at Drake. Among the other moments to do numbers on social media was Kendrick bringing out Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan.

Westbrook and DeRozan are both fellow California natives, so it makes sense they were up there with Kendrick. That didn't stop NBA fans from making fun of LeBron James, jokingly stating that Savannah James is the reason why he couldn't go up.

As a photo of LeBron and Savannah went around on social media, fans came up with fictitious conversations between the two.

Other fans brought up the running joke about LeBron being notorious for getting song lyrics wrong.

“You don’t even know the lyrics,” one fan said.
“You gon sit yo ass down here and not embarrass me. You don’t even know the words LeBron,” another fan said.
"Savannah looks like she's about to say "BOY! If you don't get some sense into that bald head of yours!" Lmaoo," said one fan.

While LeBron might live in California now, it is not where he grew up. The LA Lakers star is famously from Akron, Ohio.

LeBron James seen rapping along to Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us"

LeBron James might not have gotten on stage, but that didn't stop him from getting in on the fun. Fans in the crowd got videos of the NBA icon singing along to Kendrick Lamar's hit "Not Like Us."

About a month ago, Kendrick Lamar and Drake were in a heated feud that left fans divided. Many expected LeBron James to side with Drake in this rap beef, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Since "Not Like Us" dropped, the Lakers forward has been seen singing it on numerous occasions.

Aside from his music, Drake is known for being an NBA superfan. Among the connections he's made in the league is LeBron. In the past, he's even brought him out on stage when performing in LA.

LeBron seems to be making the most of his downtime before having to start ramping up his training again. It will be a short offseason for him, as he made the decision to play for Team USA in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Along with partaking in international play, it will be a busy summer for LeBron for other reasons. He's expected to decline his player option and become a free agent. Not to mention we're days away from the NBA draft, where his son is among the pool of prospects hoping to get picked.
