Former Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan's daughter, Hamiley Arenas, might be following in her father's footsteps. With the Notre Dame freshman stringing together strong performances and racking up accolades in high school her mother, Laura Govan, celebrated her latest achievement.
Hamiley scored her 500th point for Notre Dame, which is an impressive milestone for any hooper. To celebrate her milestone, Govan made a post on Instagram story.
"500 points already huh!," Govan wrote. "You're a Beast Mama keep going @hamileyarenas0."

Hamiley Arenas' dad, Gilbert Arenas, was a three-time All-Star in the NBA. At the peak of his career, he put together one of the most captivating highlight tapes, featuring jaw-dropping handles, strong and acrobatic finishes, astounding assists and heart-stopping clutch baskets.
During his 11-year career, he averaged 20.7 points, 5.3 assists and 1.6 steals. He had his best days with the Washington Wizards, where he spent seven and a half seasons before being traded to the Orlando Magic in December 2010.
Arenas averaged 25.0 ppg, 5.7 apg and 1.8 spg in Washington, where he got all three of his All-Star selections (2005-07). He was also named to the All-NBA third team twice (2005 & 2006) and the All-NBA second team once (2007).
According to Basketball Reference, Arenas is the seventh-best player in franchise history, with 41.5 win shares.

While Hamiley Arenas is gaining attention with her string of impressive performances for Notre Dame, her two older siblings, Izela and Alijah, are also making their marks. Gilbert Arenas' and Laura Govan's eldest daughter, Izela, is in her freshman season with Louisville.
Izela has played 17 games for the Cardinals this season, coming off the bench in every outing, averaging 4.1 points on 3.8 attempts per game and posting shooting splits of 40.0/36.4/83.3%.
She has scored double-figures three times this season. Her first came against Colorado on Nov. 30, where she scored 11 points, followed by a career-high 13 points against Grambling on Dec. 12. Her latest double-digit outing came against Wake Forest on Jan. 5, where she registered 10 points.
Meanwhile, Alijah is tagged as a five-star recruit by 247 Sports. She's in his senior year of high school and has received offers from several Division I colleges. That includes the university her father attended, the University of Arizona.
