“Trade Bron and Bronny back to Cleveland build around Luka is the only way to save the lakers”

The Lakers shocked the NBA world when they agreed to a deal to get Luka Doncic in exchange for Anthony Davis. The Lakers also get Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris and the Mavericks get Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick.

The Utah Jazz were also involved in the deal. They received Jalen Hood-Schifino, a 2025 second-round pick via the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Mavericks' 2025 second-round pick.

LeBron James to remain with the Lakers despite Anthony Davis exit, NBA insider says

LeBron James, like the rest of the NBA world, was taken by surprise with the trade that sent Anthony Davis to the Mavericks in exchange for Luka Doncic.

NBA insider, Chris Haynes in a tweet on Sunday that James will remain with the Purple and Gold beyond the Feb. 6 trade deadline.

“League sources inform me that LeBron James plans to intend a member of the Los Angeles Lakers past the February 6 trade deadline," NBA insider Chris Haynes confirmed Sunday.

With the arrival of Luka Doncic, analysts and fans have speculated about James’ state of mind. Doncic is expected to return during the All-Star weekend, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin and Tim MacMahon.

Coach JJ Redick will have to find a way to fit in the two players and get them to gel as quickly as possible. Fans will eagerly await the Lakers-Mavericks matchup on Feb. 25 in Los Angeles to see Davis come up against his now former teammate, LeBron James.
