Lonzo Ball slated to return to the Chicago Bulls this season

Lonzo Ball is expected to return to the Chicago Bulls during the 2024-25 NBA season after missing more than two seasons, dealing with a torn meniscus from the 2021-22 season.

Ball last appeared in a game for the Bulls back on January 14, 2022. The guard notched 15 points and three assists in what would be his final game for the season.

Ball has been sidelined while recovering from his latest injury in March of 2023, as the guard required a cartilage transplant in his injured knee. Lonzo Ball has undergone three surgeries to repair his meniscus and the 26-year-old is on the road to returning to the Bulls' lineup.

The 2024-25 season will mark Ball's eighth season in the NBA and his fourth in Chicago, despite only playing one season with the club so far. In 35 games in 2021-22, Ball averaged 13.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists, shooting a career-high 42.3% from three-point range.
