The Milwaukee Bucks, led by Damian Lillard, were defeated by the Indiana Pacers in the first round. However, this allowed Lillard some extra time with his family during the off-season.

The eight-time NBA All-Star shared a heartwarming social media post with his son Kali Lillard, whom he shares with his estranged wife Kay'La Hanson. In the post, he showcased a shift from being known as 'Dame Time' to embracing the role of 'Father Time' as he accompanied his son to the barber for a haircut.

Kali is one of his three children with Hanson. Damian Jr. was his firstborn, and Kali's twin is Kalii, Damian's only daughter. Hanson and Lillard got married in September 2021, but they divorced in 2024.

As of this writing, Damian and Kay'La are still in a custody battle for all three of their kids.

Damian Lillard finds himself lonely after joining the Milwaukee Bucks

At Damian Lillard's request, his former team, the Portland Trail Blazers, entered in a three-team trade, which eventually had him team up with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

In doing so, he had to leave his family behind back in Portland, Oregon, where he played for his first 11 seasons in the NBA. Adjusting to life away from his family for the first time, Lillard admits that he feels lonely being in Wisconsin.

“It’s definitely lonely because I’m such a family guy,” Lillard said in a report of The Complex. "My life is my family. After games, I would come out and my whole family would be back there. My kids coming out of the playroom. My mom, my brother, my cousins lived there, you know what I mean?”

In his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks, Damian Lillard played 73 games during the regular season. He averaged 24.3 points, 7.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.

During the playoffs, Lillard averaged 31.3 points, along with 4.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals. However, without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks couldn't overcome the Indiana Pacers challenge in the first round.
