Bryce James, son of LeBron and Savannah James, announced his commitment to the University of Arizona on New Year's Day. Jason Scheer of Wildcat Authority confirmed the report on Wednesday.

Bryce, a three-star shooting guard per 247Sports, also received offers from Duquesne and Ohio State. Bryce is pushing his dreams of making it to the NBA, much like his father and older brother, Bronny.

Savannah couldn't contain her feelings after the news was announced. She expressed her support for Bryce's aspirations in a heartfelt Instagram post.

"So proud of you @_justbryce!! 💙❤️ Your silent hustle has definitely not gone unnoticed!! I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait to cheer you on through this journey! 🐻 Down! 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️" Savannah James posted.

Bryce's father, LeBron, also shared an IG post about the next chapter of his son's life.

"🐻 DOWN⬇️!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤎🤎🤎🥺🥺🥺🤴🏾 #JamesGang👑, " LeBron captioned the post.

Like his older brother, Bryce is expected to be under the microscope of basketball fans and experts.

Savannah James felt emotional thinking about Bryce going to college

Bronny James committed to the University of Southern California in 2023, and now his younger brother, Bryce, is set to pursue his NBA dreams by heading to college. In December, Savannah James expressed her emotions about her second son preparing for this next chapter.

"Another one is going to be leaving the nest, so that's kind of crazy for me," Savannah James said (via ESPN). ... "All the emotions but it's fine, I'm good."

Bryce will be playing in Arizona, in contrast to his older brother, who remained in California. According to Jason Scheer, the ability of coach Tommy Lloyd to develop players and his patience while doing it was one of the reasons for his decision to commit to Arizona.

Expert analyzed Bryce James' style

Adam Finkelstein, the director of scouting for 247Sports, broke down what the young James needs to develop.

"Bryce needs to be given time and space to run his own race though," Finkelstein wrote. "He may not be the dynamic athlete or playmaker some expect at first, but he is a fundamentally sound player with solid perimeter size and a good early skill-set."

He added that Bryce's shooting touch is key to his development.
