NBA fans hilariously want Buddy Hield to play Steve Harvey (Imagn)

During his NBA career, Buddy Hield has proven to be one of the league's top three-point shooters. That said, fans recently clamored online about him taking an opportunity in the acting world.

On Wednesday night, reports started going around on social media that a biopic is being made for comedian and TV host Steve Harvey. Seeing that fans feel the two look alike, they jokingly feel Hield should be chosen to take on this role.

Fans were all in agreeance that Buddy Hield is capable of taking on the role of Steve Harvey. They feel the veteran sharpshooter is suited to play him in his younger years.

"buddy as a young steve is comedy lmaoooo," one fan said.
"Yep an early age Steve. We can see it," another fan said.
"Perfect hahaha," said one fan.

Hield, 31, is coming off a season where he split time with the Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers. During his time with both teams, he averaged 12.1 points and 2.8 assists while shooting 38.6% from beyond the arc.

Upon hitting the open market this summer, Hield saw himself on the move again. He ended up going back to the Western Conference in free agency, inking a deal with the Golden State Warriors.

Buddy Hield picked by analyst to make first All-Star team in 2025

Since being drafted sixth overall in 2016, Buddy Hield's time in the NBA has had some highs and lows. That said, one analyst thinks his new situation is going to bring the best out of him.

Earlier this month, the staff at ESPN voted on a series of predictions for this upcoming season. Among the questions asked was which player is going to receive their first All-Star nomination in 2025. San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama got a majority of votes, but Hield did make an appearance farther down the list.

With the Golden State Warriors, Buddy Hield is entering a system that highlights how he likes to play. Since Klay Thompson departed for the Dallas Mavericks in free agency, the front office went out and got more shooting to put aside Steph Curry.

At this point in time, it's unclear what Hield's role with the Warriors is going to be. However, if he starts and plays well, his stock in the league could drastically increase.

Earlier in his career, Hield averaged 20.7 points per game for the Sacramento Kings. As a high-volume three-point shooter, he's capable of scoring in bunches when he gets hot. On top of that, he's entering an offensive system centered around getting clean looks from beyond the arc.

Being an All-Star seems a bit far-fetched for Hield, but he certainly could thrive for the Warriors next season.
