Zach Edey captured the nation's imagination when his Purdue team went deep in the NCAA Tournament, reaching their first Final Four since 1980. Edey, a 7"4' center, is one of the most accomplished college players in this year's draft, having won National Player of the Year in each of the previous two seasons.

Much of Edey's weaknesses also stems from his massive size. He lacks the footwork elite offensive big men have and does not have enough athleticism to switch over to the crafty guard when put up against other shooting big men. Jonas Valanciunas is shorter than Edey at 6'9 but even he has struggled in his NBA career to contain big men who can pick and pop.
