Every basketball athlete dreams of playing in the NBA and getting his hands on the NBA championship at least once. Many players have achieved these feats multiple times, while some have failed to capture the illustrious trophy even with a monstrous career in the league. French international, Nicolas Batum has been in the league for a long period and impacted his teams with his versatility and scoring.

After successful 15 seasons, fans following Nikolas Batum wonder how many rings or championships the forward has won in his career. The talented star has played both starting and bench roles for his teams, and as we go through his basketball journey, we will answer the burning question regarding his championship rings.

Nicolas Batum’s NBA Championships and a Magnum Career

Although Nicolas Batum has never won an NBA championship, his impact on his teams was massive. Playing at the international level, Batum had more success, winning a silver medal in the 2020 Olympics, and a Gold Medal in the 2013 EuroBasket with France. Currently playing with the Los Angeles Clippers, Nicolas Batum will be raring to go and win his first NBA Championship.

Born in Lisieux, France, Nicolas Batum showed his ability to handle basketball at an early age. Ranked higher in the international player’s ranking, Batum was destined for a decorated career. He played in France for a while and was declared for the NAB Draft in 2008. Debuting for the Portland Trailblazers, Batum rose to starting lineup in a short period.

He did manage to average in double figures and grab 6 rebounds per game for the Trailblazers, becoming one of the main stars on the roster. Making 5 playoff seasons with the Western Conference team, Batum could reach conference semis in his career, denying any shot at the NBA championship. He later moved to the rebuilding Charlotte Hornets team. During his 5 years stay with the team, his experience and all-around performances helped the Hornets to make 1 postseason. Sadly, their progress in the competition was short-lived and were eliminated in the first round only.

Long after some unfruitful ventures with the “developing teams”, Nicolas Batum had his first real shot at the NBA championship with the star-studded LA Clippers team. The team was filled with huge talent, and the experienced Batum was used as a part-time starter in the team. But injuries to key players again shortened Batum’s progress in the playoffs, and the farthest he could go in the postseason was Conference Semis again.
