Nike Air Zoom Hyperposite II is here finally in 2015. The second generation of the shoe definitely has big shoes to fill for the Hyperposite I was a great success. Let us take a closer look at this shoe.

Hyperposite II is currently available in three colorways. Pine Green/Black-Volt, Royal Blue/Total Orange-Hyper Crimson and Dark Copper/Black-Volt. Along with this, Nike decided to introduce a visible Air Zoom unit with this shoe (similar to Nike Air Max 2015). These shoes will definitely turn some eyes on the court for all the three colorways are stunning. The shoe stays true to its size and you will face no problem getting your foot into the shoe. The toe box is perfect and runs neither narrow nor wide. This shoe combines Hyperfuse and Foamposite (Nike’s two most durable materials) to offer all-out durability, support and ventilation.

The Nike Air Zoom Hyperposite 2 features a one-piece upper that provides ultimate durability and offers amazing strength-to-weight ratio. You will experience great ventilation as the cutouts on the midsole expose the mesh upper. An internal bootie ensures warm fit along with extraordinary levels of breathability. The second generation of the boot offers better ventilation when compared to Hyperposite 1. Now, this is a great thing.

The cushioning in this shoe is amazing, thanks to full length Nike Air Zoom cushioning unit present in the midsole along with Phylon foam. The Phylon foam provides fantastic cushioning for all the heel strikes (great news for all the heel strikers). These shoes are ultra-responsive. All your quick moments with this shoe should be a walk in the park. Your basketball game can change in seconds, hence, the most responsive cushioning system – the Air Zoom. Lockdown in these is shoes is mind-blogging. The best part of this shoe is that even the collar of the boot also acts as a cushioning element.

You will experience unparalleled levels of traction levels with the rubber outsole on the Hyperposite 2. The traction is definitely better when compared with the first generation of boots. Not that Hypervenom I was bad, Nike took a good shoe and made it better. The durability of this shoe is also supreme. This engineered rubber outsole offers more traction in high-contact areas and low-traction in low contact areas. The unique pattern on the outsole offers great heel-to-toe transition. Along with this, it offers great traction on various surfaces.

Bottom-line: A well-meant update.
