The reigning NBA Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic plays as a center for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. The level that Jokic has reached today is remarkable. Playing in his hometown in Serbia a few years ago, he would not have imagined that one day he would become a true global superstar.
But Jokic worked hard, and though he doesn’t possess the traditional NBA game, he has found success in his own right. At 6 feet 11 inches, the two-time league MVP is arguably one of the best passers of the ball. He is a top defender, rebounder, scorer, and more. Jokic has the unique ability as a center to beat you inside the post, outside with the mid-range shot, and even from beyond the arc.
The Serbian is also fluid on the court, but when it comes to power, few can match him. His strength and hustling abilities come in handy during rebounds and put-backs. His court awareness gets him so many assists as he draws double teams but knows where his teammates are. And to top it all off, he can score from literally anywhere.
