Norman Powell is an American professional basketball player, and as of November 2024, he plays for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA as a shooting guard/small forward. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks as the 46th overall pick in the second round of the 2015 NBA Draft but was immediately traded to the Toronto Raptors. He also played for the Raptors 905 in the NBA G League. After playing six seasons with the Raptors, Powell joined the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2021-2022 season.
Powell attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and played for the UCLA Bruins men's basketball, where he played from 2011 to 2015. He finished his college career as the team leader in scoring with 16.4 points per game. He was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week three times for his performance in the tournament. Additionally, he was named the First-Team All-District by the United States Basketball Writers Association and the Second-Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
