Norman Powell is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Los Angeles Clippers. He first started playing basketball at Lincoln High School in San Diego, where he led his team to a Division II state title in 2010. After a successful high school career, Powell joined UCLA in 2011, where he played for four seasons. He earned First-Team All-Pac-12 honors in his senior season in college.

In the 2015 NBA Draft, Powell was selected 46th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. He made an immediate impact as a rookie, averaging 5.6 points in 15.3 minutes per game. His breakout season came in 2019, when he helped the team win their first ever NBA Championship, defeating the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.

After six seasons with the Raptors, Powell was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in 2021. Over two seasons in Portland, he averaged 18.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Then in February 2022, Powell was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers where he was reunited with former Raptor teammate Kawhi Leonard. Now in his second season with the team, Powell is a key player for the title chasing Clippers.
