Ogugua Anunoby Jr., better known as OG Anunoby, is a British professional basketball player for the New York Knicks. While Anonoby was born in London, his parents are Nigerian. He moved to the States along with his family at the age of four. Anunoby himself used to play football but got into basketball when he went to high school at Jefferson City High School. By the end of his high school career, Anunoby was a three-star recruit who committed to play at Indiana University.

After 2 seasons at Indiana University, Anunoby declared for the NBA draft where he was selected as the 23rd overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. As a part of the Raptors’ championship team in 2019, Anunoby became the first British basketball player to win an NBA championship. Over the years, Anunoby captured the attention of the industry for being a highly defensive player by receiving NBA All-Defensive Second-team honors, resulting in his trade to the New York Knicks in 2023. Presently, OG Anunoby plays alongside Jalen Brunson in the Knicks roster as they battle against the Indiana Pacers for a spot in the Eastern Conference finals of the 2023-24 NBA season.
