The OKC Thunder continue a four-game road swing with a matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. Oklahoma, which lost 127-116 on Nov. 10, hopes to even the season series with a win. To beat the Dubs, the Thunder must accomplish the task without key players Alex Caruso, Chet Holmgren and Jaylin Williams.
The Warriors are mired in a mini-slump heading into the rematch with the Thunder. Additionally, Steph Curry could be out due to a knee injury. Jonathan Kuminga is also uncertain to play because of a non-Covid-related illness. The matchup between the two teams with the best record in the Western Conference could be determined by injuries to key players.

OKC Thunder vs Golden State Warriors preview
Chet Holmgren is out but the OKC Thunder have been boosted by the return of Isaiah Hartenstein from injury. The former New York Knicks big man helped end the Thunder’s malaise with back-to-back strong performances. He will again have a crucial role in the rematch against the Warriors.
Oklahoma has the best defensive rating in the NBA. It will rely on its ability to slow down opponents to try and extend the Warriors’ slump.
If Steph Curry is not cleared to play, the Golden State Warriors will have a tall task beating the league’s best defense. For the hosts to win without the two-time MVP, Andrew Wiggins, Lindy Waters III, Buddy Hield, Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody must step up on offense.
On defense, the Warriors have to limit Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s impact. The All-Star guard is having another impressive season for the Thunder. Draymond Green and Co. must also account for Jalen Williams, OKC’s emerging star.

OKC Thunder vs Golden State Warriors betting tips
If cleared to play, Steph Curry gets a 23.5 (O/U) points prop. Betting over might be tempting but going for the opposite might make sense. Curry is dealing with injuries on both knees and he will face the NBA’s best defense. Lu Dort, Aaron Wiggins, Cason Wallace and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will take their turns shadowing him.
Curry had 28 points in 29 minutes on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets, which is 26th in defensive rating.
Isaiah Hartenstein averages 15.0 points in two games this season. Against the Dubs’ frontline of Draymond Green, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney, he might still get over his 10.5 (O/U) points prop.
OKC Thunder vs Golden State Warriors prediction
The OKC Thunder are favored to win by -2.5 on the assumption that Steph Curry plays. If the two-time MVP is held out, Oklahoma likely walks away with a victory that also beats the spread.
If the sharpshooter suits up, the Thunder could still win by a close decision but allow the Golden State Warriors to cover the spread.
