Dennis Schroder could be flipped ahead of the new season
Dennis Schroder established himself as a regular starter during his time with the Atlanta Hawks, although the point guard embraced a back-up role to Russell Westbrook last season. Schroder managed to make a significant impact from the bench, averaging 15.5 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in 29.3 minutes per game.
While Schroder's impact from the bench was a huge boost for the Thunder last season, a rebuilding Oklahoma City team no longer requires the luxury of having the NBA's best backup point guard. Due to this, Brett Dawson of The Athletic is reporting that Presti will look to trade the German as soon as the new season gets underway.

The promising Gilgeous-Alexander is likely to be the Thunder's starting guard next season, while the team could add further depth by bringing back Raymond Felton for a third season.
