D.J. Augustin has spent the past three seasons with the Magic, although the 18-19 season marked the first in which Augustin enjoyed a prolonged spell as Orlando's starting point guard.

Augustin started 81 times in the regular season, averaging 11.7 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.5 rebounds, and the guard also put on a show in Game 1 of the playoffs as he hit the game-winning shot against the Raptors.

But Augustin is still among the NBA's worst starting point guards and his poor defense was mercifully exposed against the best teams. Augustin will also turn 32 later this year, and he clearly doesn't fit in with Orlando's youthful roster.
The Magic have all the experience they need in Terrence Ross and Nikola Vucevic, and the Magic may look to offload Augustin in favor of a younger playmaker.
