Orlando Magic vs Detroit Pistons preview
The Magic were great to start the season but have struggled recently because of injuries to arguably their best two players in Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. They are just 4-6 in the past 10 games. They did, however, get a narrow 102-101 win against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.
Tristan da Silva had 21 points, while Goga Bitadze had a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds.
The Pistons split their past 10 games. They have struggled at home with a 5-8 record. Detroit is coming off a 134-121 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday that snapped its three-game win streak. Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey had 17 points each, while Jalen Duran and Ron Holland chipped in with 12 points apiece.
Orlando Magic vs Detroit Pistons betting props
Jalen Suggs’ points total is set at 20.5. While he had a rare off game against Brooklyn with just eight points, bet on him to bounce back strong. He scored 27 and 29 points, respectively, in the previous two games. Bet on Suggs to have over 20.5 points.
Cade Cunningham’s points total is set at 22.5, which is under his season average of 24.0 points. Orlando, though, has one of the best defenses in the league and should restrict Cunningham to under 22.5 points.
Orlando Magic vs Detroit Pistons prediction
This should be a close game because of Orlando’s injury concerns and Detroit’s inconsistency. The oddsmaker slightly favors Detroit to win this game at home. We, however, predict an upset. This should be a low-scoring game with the team total staying under 211.5 points.
