Paolo Napoleon James Banchero is a basketball player who plays for the Orlando Magic in the NBA as of October 2024. He played high school basketball at O'Dea High School in Seattle, where he averaged 18.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game in his sophomore season. He led O'Dea to the Class 3A state championship and was named the most valuable player during his sophomore year. In his junior year, he was honored Gatorade Player of the Year and MaxPreps National Junior of the Year. He played college basketball at Duke University, where he became ACC Rookie Player of the Year in 2022.

Banchero was selected number one overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2023 NBA Draft. He became NBA Rookie of the Year in 2023, averaging 20 points per game. In the 2024 season, he made it to the NBA All-Star game for the first time.
