Pascal Siakam, nicknamed "Spicy P," is a professional basketball player from Cameroon. He is currently signed with the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Born in Douala, Cameroon, to parents Tchamo and Victorie Siakam, Siakam went to the St. Andrew's Seminary in Bafia. He played college basketball for the New Mexico State Aggies. He was selected a unanimous WAC Player of the Year honors during the 2015-2016 season.
Siakam was drafted by the Toronto Raptors with the 27th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He scored his career-high 52 points in a 113–106 win over the New York Knicks on December 21, 2022,
Siakam's biggest coup was winning the NBA championship with the Raptors in 2019. He subsequently agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $130 million with them. He is a two-time NBA All-Star and has been selected once each to the All-NBA Second and All-NBA Third Team. He was also voted the NBA Most Improved Player in 2019.
