Pat Spencer is a professional American basketball player in the NBA and was born on July 4, 1996, in North Wales, Pennsylvania. He attended the Boys' Latin School of Maryland(Baltimore, Maryland) and initially only played on the varsity lacrosse team. He set the record for career assists in NCAA Division I lacrosse while at Loyola University with 231 assists and in career points with 380. He was a great player in the college lacrosse and he was awarded the Lt. Raymond Enners Award and the Tewaaraton Award which are awarded to the best college player.
Spencer had a great college lacrosse career and then went on to play professional basketball at Northwestern University, where he averaged 10.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. He declared for the 2020 NBA Draft but was unfortunately not picked in the draft. Following this, he spent several years playing for different clubs, before landing a role with the Golden State Warriors. He has played for Hamburg Towers in Germany's Basketball Bundesliga and for the Capital City Go-Go in the NBA G League. As of November 2024, Spencer is a member of the Golden State Warriors team.
