Patty Mills returned to the NBA, joining the San Antonio Spurs in 2012. He stuck with the team for nine years of his career thereafter.

In 2021, Patty Mills joined the Brooklyn Nets. Patty continued improving his game and setting new career highs. He was part of the Brooklyn Nets for two years before being traded to the Atlanta Hawks, the team Mills is currently playing for in the NBA.
