The PBA (Professional Bowlers Association) Tournament of Champions is one of the most prestigious and competitive tournaments in the bowling world. It is the only tournament where the invited players or the bowlers who have met the qualifiers can participate. As the tournament starts, the elimination rounds begin, each bowler tries to score the maximum score, and the bowlers with the lowest score start getting eliminated. The final event in the competition is called the ‘Stepladder finals’, where the remaining best bowlers compete head to head and eventually, one of the bowlers wins the championship.
The tournament has a very rich history starting back in 1962, the event got popularized mostly in the United States. The tour usually happens in the U.S. only but is sometimes also hosted internationally.
