Born on September 11, 2002, in Beverly Hills, California, Peyton Watson plays in the guard-forward role for the Denver Nuggets. He ended his rookie season as an NBA champion, winning the 2023 championship with the Nuggets.

In his early years, Watson played for the Long Beach Polytechnic high school, making the varsity team as a freshman. In his junior season, he averaged 23.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, and was awarded the Moore League MVP honors.
