George and Leonard will look to hit the ground running after dealing with their fair share of injuries the past couple of seasons. It will be one of their best opportunities to make some noise in the Western Conference.

After an impressive offseason, the Clippers are generating buzz throughout the league. Many pundits feel they are among the favorites to compete for an NBA championship this season.

One player who has admired the professionalism of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard is their former teammate Patrick Beverley.

On a recent episode of "The Pat Bev Podcast," Beverley spoke with co-host Rone about the LA Clippers' chances this season. He praised George's willingness to be the second option behind Leonard.

"Paul George today had a quote where he talked about saying that Kawhi is the first option and I'm the second option. I have no problem with that as far as that being the pecking order on the team. What does that take for a player to be able to say I don't mind being Robin and he can be Batman?"

Beverley also reminisced about being teammates with Paul George. He admired his hard work and professionalism.

"I mean I just that just shows you the professionalism and the [will] to win from a Paul George standpoint. ... That doesn't mean like PG got game game. He might be the best mover with the ball in the league at his size."

Los Angeles Clippers have the most depth in NBA behind Paul George and Kawhi Leonard

The LA Clippers have quickly become the talk of the NBA. It has a lot to do with the return of both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Leonard missed the entire 2021-22 season due to an ACL tear in his right knee. George missed over 50 games last season, largely due to lingering issues with his right elbow.

Many thought that the Clippers would "coast" last season without the availability of their top two players. But the organization had other plans. Los Angeles went out and acquired a pair of veterans last season. They traded for Norman Powell and Robert Covington. It gave them two solid pieces that could step up and perform at any given moment.

They weren't done there. The front office went out and signed former All-Star guard John Wall in the offseason. Suddenly, the Clippers depth has become their biggest strength. If the Clippers can stay healthy, they will be tougher to beat than any other team in the league.
