The Philadelphia 76ers were one of the three teams without a single draft pick on draft night. The Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks were the other two teams on the list. The Chicago Bulls found ways to get draft capital for the 2023 draft, but the 76ers chose not to go that route.
The 76ers had their second-round pick taken away, just like the Chicago Bulls, due to tampering violations involving P.J. Tucker and Danuel House Jr. This year's draft saw 58 players being drafted instead of 60, and the Philadelphia 76ers were one of the teams who did not get a chance to use their pick. However, this did not mean that the 76ers did not get a chance to add rookies to their squad.
