The Suns could try to trade DeAndre Ayton for Anthony Davis
The New Orleans Pelicans landed the number one pick in the upcoming NBA draft, although Anthony Davis has reaffirmed his desire to leave the franchise this summer. Davis has been strongly linked to both the Lakers and Celtics, but Duane Rankin of azcentral is reporting that the Suns could consider offering a package built around DeAndre Ayton:
I mean anything is possible ... Monty Williams knows Anthony Davis. Monty Williams is here. I am sure he would like to continue or resume that relationship. Anthony Davis has grown as a player and it might work. But boy, you are talking about trading away last year's top pick [DeAndre Ayton] whom you were supposedly building a franchise around.
