The Phoenix Suns will be on the road to face the Detroit Pistons on Saturday. Phoenix is 10th in the Western Conference with a 20-20 record, while Detroit is eighth in the East with a 21-20 record.
The Suns are coming off of a 130-123 win against the Washington Wizards on Thursday. Devin Booker led the team with 37 points, while Kevin Durant had 23. Phoenix is on a five-game road tour, with this being the third game. It's 1-1 so far and will like to improve its 7-12 overall away this season.
Detroit, meanwhile, has gained some pace with seven wins in its past 10 games. However, it lost its most recent game 111-100 to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the team in scoring with 25 points, while Cade Cunningham had 20. This is the Pistons’ last home game before going on a five-game road trip.
The two teams have faced each other in 146 regular-season games, with Phoenix holding a slender 74-72 lead. They have met once this season, on Dec. 21, when the Pistons won 133-125, behind Cunningham’s 28 points. The Suns were led by Kevin Durant’s 43 points.
