Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors preview

The Suns will play the second leg of a back-to-back after losing 98-89 to the Luka Doncic-less Dallas Mavericks on Friday. Kevin Durant had 35 points but found little help from the rest of the starters. Bradley Beal was the only other starter in double digits with 11 points.

Phoenix has won just three of its last 10 games and is 5-8 on the road. The Warriors haven’t been great recently either, as they have, too, gone 3-7 in their previous 10. Golden State is on a three-game losing streak and is just 7-7 at home.

The Warriors played Friday as well and lost 102-92 to the LA Clippers. Steph Curry was rested because of knee injury management. Jonathan Kuminga led the team off the bench with 34 points and 10 rebounds.

Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors betting props

Kevin Durant’s points total is set at 29.5. While he is coming off of a great game, his season average of 27.5 points is under Saturday’s prop. Expect the Warriors to double-team Durant and make it hard for him to score.

Steph Curry’s points total is set at 24.5. After he rested Friday, bet on the two-time MVP to come out strong and score over 25 points.

Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors prediction

The oddsmakers slightly favor Phoenix to upset Golden State at home. We, however, expect the Warriors to snap their three-game losing streak and get a statement win on Saturday. Curry should have a great outing and lead his team to victory in a high-scoring affair, with the team total exceeding 220 points.
