The Philadelphia 76ers get another shot at the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Philadelphia lost 118-116 in early November, behind a game-winning jumper from former MVP Kevin Durant. The 76ers continue to face injury woes and might be without key players in the rematch.
Meanwhile, the Suns are finally healthy besides Royce O’Neale. A win by the visitors will give them a sweep of theie season series with the 76ers and improve their 14-19 record. Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic will lead the Mike Budenholzer-coached team.

Phoenix Suns vs Philadelphia 76ers: Key matchups
Joel Embiid vs Jusuf Nurkic or Mason Plumlee
Joel Embiid is a staple in the 76ers’ injury report but could play on Monday. If he does, he will line up from across Mason Plumlee, the Suns starting center starting Monday.
"The Process" has finally found some rhythm and consistency despite battling different issues. This month, he's averaging 28.0 points per game on 45.7% shooting, including 50.0% from behind the arc.
The Suns will give the unenviable job of slowing down the former MVP on Plumlee and Jusuf Nurkic. If the Phoenix frontline can contain Embiid, the visitors will have a big chance to win the game.
Kevin Durant vs Paul George
Kelly Oubre Jr. dealing with a left hand sprain gives fans an instant Kevin Durant one-on-one duel with Paul George. In the first meeting between the two teams, the two had an exciting mano-a-mano, with KD winning the showdown by sinking the game-winning shot.
PG13 will likely get his time shadowing Devin Booker, but Durant will be his primary matchup. George hasn’t been as impactful on offense as many thought he would be, but he should still test Durant on defense.
Devin Booker vs Tyrese Maxey
In their first matchup of the season against the Suns, the 76ers wanted to exploit Tyrese Maxey’s size and speed advantage over Suns starting guard Tyus Jones.
The ploy worked, as Maxey scored 32 points on 12-for-22 shooting, including 6-for-14 from deep. Phoenix belatedly responded by putting Devin Booker on Maxey and stashing Jones on Oubre.
Booker will likely start on Maxey right off the bat. Book isn’t as fast as the Philly point guard but will likely not be bullied.
