The two teams have played each other on 137 occasions in the regular season, with Washington holding a 69-68 lead. This will be their first game this season.

They played twice last season, with Phoenix sweeping the series 2-0. The most recent game was on Feb. 4, when the Suns won 140-112 behind Bradley Beal's 43 points. Former Wizard Deni Avdija led Washington with 24 points.
