Perry "PJ" Dozier Jr. is a 1996-born American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) and the EuroLeague. The South Carolina-born guard/small forward who went undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft signed with the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2017 NBA Summer League. He then signed a contract with the Dallas Mavericks in August 2017 but was subsequently released by them in October, After that he signed a two-way contract with the Oklahoma Thunders and their NBA G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue. In August 2018 Dozier signed a two-way contract with the Boston Celtics and owing to his tremendous performances PJ Dozier was named to the All-NBA G League team but in June 2019 his contract was not extended by the Boston Celtics making him an unrestricted free agent.
In August 2019, Dozier signed a one-year contract with the Denver Nuggets in a two-way contract which was subsequently converted to a multi-year deal in June 2020. However, PJ Dozier tore his left ACL against the Portland Trailblazers. Then in early 2022, he was first traded to the Boston Celtics in a three-team deal then later to the Orlando Magic who waived him subsequently. After making a comeback from his ACL injury Dozier had small stints with the Iowa Wolves and the Sacramento Kings, Dozier signed a one-year deal with Partizan Mozzart Bet of the Basketball League of Serbia (KLS) and the EuroLeague. In his first season, Dozier averaged 9.2 points in 33 Euroleague games. Owing to his performances in the Euroleague, Dozier made his return to the NBA and signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves on 15 July 2024 but he was waived in December by the Wolves. Then in January 2025, Dozier signed with Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL) and the EuroLeague.
