Anthony Leon "P. J." Tucker Jr., born on May 5, 1985, in Raleigh, North Carolina, is a remarkable figure in the NBA. Tucker went to Enloe High School, gaining the extension of many with his exceptional skills. Due to his outstanding performance in high school, he was awarded as the North Carolina Player of the Year in 2003.

In February 2017, Tucker was traded back with the Raptors following a trade. In the same year, he led the team to reach the Eastern Conference semifinals. However, the Raptors were defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers in four games.

In July 2017, Tucker signed a contract with the Houston Rockets, where he became an integral part of the team. He contributed significantly to the Rockets’ achievements, aiding them in reaching the playoffs and also Western Conference Finals in the 2017-18 season.

In 2021, Tucker was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, contributing to their championship-winning season — their first since 1971. He was a part of the success for the Bucks, as his defensive play helped the team to clinch the NBA title.

In August 2021, Tucker signed with the Miami Heat. His leadership and defensive skills helped the Heat reach the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2022 playoffs.

Tucker’s latest chapter in the NBA is with the Philadelphia 76ers, having signed with them in 2022. He is currently an active player in their roster for the 2023-2024 season.
