#2 A trade for LaMarcus Aldridge is possible
The San Antonio Spurs appear to be heading towards a much-needed rebuild after making a 9-14 start to the season, and the likes of DeMar DeRozan, Rudy Gay, and LaMarcus Aldridge could be made available ahead of the trade deadline. Of the mentioned trio, Aldridge is expected to attract the most interest, and a Western Conference executive told HoopsHype that the Trail Blazers are among the teams that could make a move for the veteran star:

Aldridge spent nine seasons with the Trail Blazers before signing a huge deal with the Spurs as a free agent back in 2016. Despite turning 34 earlier this year, Aldridge remains among the NBA's best bigs and is this season averaging 18.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game. The seven-time All-Star has two-years to run on his current contract and will earn $24 million during the 2020-21 season.
