#3 Portland could be among the contenders to sign Andre Iguodala

Andre Iguodala has not played since the 2019 NBA Finals

Andre Iguodala was sent to the Memphis Grizzlies during the offseason following six hugely successful seasons with the Golden State Warriors, although the veteran is currently away from the team as the Grizzlies attempt to push through a trade. The Dallas Mavericks are among the teams that are interested in acquiring the 2015 Finals MVP, although David Cobb of the Memphis Commercial Appeal believes that Portland could also be in the mix:

Iguodala would likely be an even bigger boost to a team that has struggled to begin the season after making the Western Conference Finals in May. Portland addressed an offensive need in acquiring Anthony. It could address a defensive need with Iguodala.

Iguodala will turn 36 next month, although the veteran was impressive during Golden State's run to the 2019 NBA Finals. Over 21 appearances, Iguodala contributed 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks.
