Portland Trail Blazers vs San Antonio Spurs: Key players

Anfernee Simons

Anfernee Simons didn’t start the season strong but has found his form in the recent games. In the past three games, he scored 30, 20 and 28 points against the Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Nuggets, respectively. As Portland narrowly lost 118-116 to San Antonio on Dec. 13, expect Simons to come out aggressive Saturday and aim for a win.

Victor Wembanyama

Quite a few questions were raised regarding Victor Wembanyama’s offensive prowess at the start of the season. However, he silenced his doubters and has been on a tear. He averages 24.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.5 blocks and 1.2 steals per game.

He had 28 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two blocks against Portland on Dec. 13 and should have another great game on Saturday.
