Actor and LeBron James' superfan, Jamie Foxx, is pumped up after the LA Lakers picked Bronny James with their 55th pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft on Thursday. Fox congratulated LeBron and Bronny by sharing their snaps on Instagram. He also wrote a heartfelt message in his caption for the Lakers' father-son duo.

"Maaaaaan the first father son to play in the NBA!! First of all super congratulations to @kingjames and @bronny this is a moment in history!!! To the both of you… enjoy … have fun… and BALL OUT!!! It will be the first time in NBA history that the father-son duo are active players on the same team in the league. To top it all off, LeBron James and his son Bronny James will likely play together as teammates in the next season if Bron doesn't exercise his player option to switch teams in the offseason.

However, it is highly unlikely, as the 20-year-old veteran has previously opened up about wanting to play alongside his son in the league.

While Bronny, 19, will feature in the 2024–25 season as a rookie, LeBron (39) will take to the stage as the oldest player in the league to kick off year 21 of dominance.

The four-time NBA champion also shared a post on Instagram, which featured a series of pictures of LeBron with his son, including an edited photo of the father-son duo in matching Lakers uniforms.

"LEGACY!!!!!! 🤴🏾🤴🏾," James captioned.

While LeBron is in the twilight years of his career, the NBA's all-time leading scorer teaming up with his son would be the perfect closure to his legendary career.
